Meditation Course with Kusalamula Bhikkhu
Dear All,
How can we live with greater peace, clarity, and wisdom in our everyday lives?
The Buddha’s teachings are not only relevant to monastic life. They offer practical guidance for working with stress, difficult emotions, relationships, expectations, and the many challenges we encounter in our daily lives.
With this in mind, I’m glad to introduce a new 7-week Meditation Course that will explore the Buddha’s teachings from a secular and practical perspective. The emphasis will be on understanding the teachings and, more importantly, learning how to apply them in our ordinary lives.
Format: Online via Zoom
First session: Sunday, September 13, 2026
Schedule: Every Sunday
Time: 5:00-6:30 PM PT | 8:00-9:30 PM ET
Weekly session
Dhamma Learning - 1 hour
Guided Meditation - 30 minutes
Reference Books
We will use two books by Karma Yeshe Rabgye as our primary references:
Life’s Meandering Path: A Secular Approach to Gautama Buddha’s Guide to Living
The Dharma Code: How Ancient Wisdom Can Solve Modern Struggles
Attendees are encouraged to read assigned chapters before each session. However, the reading is optional, and you are welcome to join the sessions even if you have not had a chance to read the material.
