1.19.22 I FACILITATOR SPOTLIGHT: DANIELLE ADAMS
Danielle Adams’ sharing of yoga is deeply rooted in Karma Yoga - the path of service. She embodies humility, compassion, and commitment - offering many good works as acts of love, rather than seeking recognition and reward. Danielle’s sharing of yoga reminds us of our interconnectedness and the sacredness of everyday acts of care.
At Community Yoga Center, Danielle mentors yogis in both the 200-hour and 300-hour teacher training programs and co-chairs the House Committee, lovingly tending to the physical space that holds our community. This month she is collaborating with Catherine Murray to facilitate The Art of Vinyasa on Thursday afternoons at 4:30pm, an offering emphasizing mindful sequencing, breath connection, and creative flow. On two Sundays in February, Danielle will be facilitating All-Abilities Ashtanga, continuing our collective commitment to offering accessible, welcoming yoga practices for every body.
Danielle is adept not only in the physical movement aspects of asana, but in the broader practice of yoga as well - the cultivation of radical presence, honesty, and love. Her heart-led sharing and steady leadership continue to enrich the community in meaningful ways.
