4.21.26 I FACILITATOR SPOTLIGHT: BLANCA WRIGHT

Blanca Wright is the founder of Embodied Breath Wellness, an organization devoted to creating sensitive, inclusive, and empowering spaces for healing through movement, breath, and meditation. With training in trauma-informed facilitation and a deep understanding of the nervous system, she guides individuals in gently reconnecting with their bodies, cultivating resilience, and deepening self-compassion.

Her approach to teaching is rooted in presence, choice, and agency. Through mindfulness and grounding practices, Blanca offers yoga as an invitation - one that honors each person’s unique experience and supports a sense of both autonomy and belonging.

Blanca also shares yoga freely in public park spaces throughout the Redlands and Highland communities, co-creating accessible landing places where people can gather, breathe, and practice together. She holds yoga as a pathway for self-discovery, personal growth, and the kind of healing that unfolds gradually, yet profoundly.

At Community Yoga Center, Blanca serves as a mentor to students in both the 200-hour and 300-hour teacher training programs, offering thoughtful guidance and steady support. She also co-chairs the Hospitality Committee, helping to cultivate a warm, welcoming, and connected environment for all who enter. Blanca’s presence is both grounding and generous. Her work continues to shape and nurture the spirit of conscious community at CYC.
