Dhamma Learning and Meditation Practice with Kusalamula Bhikkhu
READING: MN 13 Mahadukkhakkhandha Sutta (The Greater Discourse on the Mass of Suffering). The Buddha explains the full understanding of sensual pleasures, material form, and feelings; there is a long section on the dangers of sensual pleasures.
Most people do not understand themselves or the world around them; as a result, they face many difficulties in life and struggle to find true happiness. To help people overcome these challenges, Kusalamula Bhikkhu is offering a weekly session focused on the Buddha’s teachings in the Middle Length Discourses of the Buddha (Majjhima Nikāya), along with guided meditation.
We’ll explore one sutta per session.
Each session will last about 1.5 hours and include:
- 15 minutes: Summary of the selected sutta
- 45 minutes: Explanation and Q&As
- 30 minutes: Guided meditation practice
This offering will take place on Zoom every Sunday, 5pm-6:30pm PT / 8pm-9:30pm ET.
