Yin yoga an accessible asana practice that links the breath with body movements supported by a chair. It's a wonderful way to stretch your body, relieve tension, and relax from head to toe in a comfortable seated position. It can be very mind soothing and heart opening, and may help to increase inner calmness, gratitude and contentment.
Being able to move into and out of a chair is basic physical requirement for the yoga postures in chair yoga. Comfortable layered clothing is recommended.
